Assume you are registered for the team you choose unless you are notified differently. GOTR teams meet at the front door of the school on the first day of practice, unless you are notified of special arrangements. Rainy/Snowy Weather — GOTR teams will meet regardless of the weather, UNLESS the schools close. | 5K InformationGirls on the Run participants have been working (and playing!) hard all season to prepare for the Big Event — the NEW BALANCE GOTR 5Ks. Parents and other family members are welcome to make the day even more special by joining their Girl on the Run on the course! You can provide valuable support by encouraging your girl and other participants along the way to run, walk, skip or cartwheel across the finish line. The event is sure to be a life-affirming experience for you both! Race materials may be picked up at the 5K site 90 minutes prior to the start time. The Elkhorn/Omaha-area GOTR teams will strut their stuff at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8 at the Elkhorn High School Stadium. The Lincoln-area GOTR teams will strut their stuff at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9 at Holmes Lake.
